Amarillo Season Won't Continue in Playoffs Monday, September 4th , 2062 They hung tough, but ultimately, it won't be a championship year for the Amarillo Armadillos. Today, the team was mathematically eliminated from qualifying for the postseason. Before this season, the Armadillos last missed the playoffs in 2055. In the 42 years they have been a Minor League PBE franchise, they have missed the playoffs 21 times. In the last 10 seasons, the Armadillos have made the playoffs 8 times.
