Beaty Smacks 5 Hits for Lemurs Monday, May 8th , 2073 Some moments become linked with a particular player's career forever. Carlton Beaty of the Louisville Lemurs had one of those moments when he went 5-for-6 at the plate in his team's 5-4 win over the State College Swift Steeds at Colby Koffman Championship Field at The Jungle. "I won't forget this anytime soon, and I don't expect it to happen too often," the 21-year-old catcher told reporters in the postgame interview. "I'll be happy to just get a hit or two every day. Enough to hang around the league a while longer. Like 10, maybe 15 more years." Carlton Beaty singled in the 2nd, hit a solo-shot off Biz Kitmaker in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 5th, grounded out in the 7th, singled in the 10th and singled in the 11th.
