The Math Says - State College Out of Playoffs Wednesday, September 12th , 2074 The bid by the State College Swift Steeds for a postseason berth came to a close today. The club has been mathematically eliminated from the 2074 playoffs, and team manager said players on the team "are taking it hard." This is the club's 2nd playoff miss in a row. They last appeared in the postseason in 2072. In total, the Swift Steeds have missed the playoffs 29 times in their 54-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Swift Steeds have made the playoffs 6 times. State College last won the World Series in 2058. |
