Mexicano Has 20-Game Hitting Streak Tuesday, May 18th , 2077 El Grande Mexicano's bat has been smoking lately, and it continued today as he went 2-for-4 in his team's 5-4 triumph over the Louisville Lemurs at The Jose Forty-Three Stadium. The 23-year-old left fielder has now hit safely in 20 consecutive games for the Kingpins. El Grande Mexicano hit an RBI single in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, walked in the 5th, grounded out in the 7th and flied out in the 9th. So far this season, Mexicano has hit .367 with 3 home runs, 20 RBIs and scored 15 times. |
