Babineaux Sticks It to MiLPBE Pitchers Monday, June 21st , 2077 When it came to hitting the baseball, Axel Babineaux was in a class by himself in the Minor League PBE this past week. Nobody did it better. The outstanding center fielder for Amarillo tagged opposing pitchers for a .571 average and was voted the Player of the Week Award. Included in his stats were 12 hits in 21 at-bats, 2 homers, 6 runs scored and 6 RBIs. This season, Babineaux is hitting .358 with 59 hits, 6 home runs, 25 RBIs, scored 31 runs and played in 47 games. |
