Hit Streak for Ganjasmoke Reaches 25 Tuesday, May 3rd , 2078 The Chicago Kingpins may have proven to be mere mortals as they lost, 7-6, to the Brew City Bears, but Sweet Sweet Ganjasmoke continued to hit like a god. The second baseman collected 1 hit in 2 at-bats in the loss and extended his hitting streak to 25 games. "Ganjasmoke is playing great and is on fire right now," Kingpins manager said. "Hopefully his play can spark the rest of our team and help us pick up some wins." Ganjasmoke was apparently not happy with the game and when pressed by reporters in the locker room only said "nothing else matters but the loss." Sweet Sweet Ganjasmoke walked in the 1st, walked in the 3rd, was hit by a pitch in the 4th, singled in the 6th and grounded out in the 8th. So far this season, Ganjasmoke has 1 home run and a .413 batting average. |
