State College Ace Named MiLPBE Most Valuable Player Award Sunday, October 22nd , 2079 If he wasn't already a household name in Minor League PBE, Mann Person of the State College Swift Steeds certainly is now. He has a bright future ahead of him after today being named the winner of the 2079 Minor League PBE Most Valuable Player Award, at the age of only 23. "I feel like I'm getting better all the time, so I'm looking forward to the years to come," said the ace, who this year put up a 13-1 record. Overall, Person made 27 starts and pitched 174 innings, racking up 114 strikeouts with 45 walks and a 2.12 ERA. Doug Love of the Louisville Lemurs finished second in voting, while Chris Cash Jr. of the Anchorage Wheelers finished third. |
