Hit Streak Now at 20 for Back Again Wednesday, July 23rd , 2070 The Florida Flamingos may have proven to be mere mortals today as they lost 3-2 to the Kansas City Hepcats, but Boyz II Chess, Back Again continued to hit like a god. The right fielder collected 1 hit in 4 at-bats in the loss and extended his hitting streak to 20 games. "Back Again is playing great and is on fire right now," Flamingos manager said. "Hopefully his play can spark the rest of our team and help us pick up some wins." Back Again was apparently not happy with the game and when pressed by reporters in the locker room only said "nothing else matters but the loss." Boyz II Chess, Back Again flied out in the 1st, walked in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, grounded out in the 6th and flied out in the 9th. Presently Back Again is batting .313 and has collected 7 home runs, 29 RBIs, .380 OBP and scored 43 runs. |
