Swift Steeds End Back Again's Streak Tuesday, July 29th , 2070 Boyz II Chess, Back Again, right fielder for the Florida Flamingos, gave it a good try, but his time chasing history came to an end when he went hitless in 6 tries against the State College Swift Steeds today. Not only did the Swift Steeds break his 24-game hitting streak, they also beat Florida by the score of 3-2. "Now that the streak has ended, I can admit I'll breathe a bit easier the next time I step up to bat," Back Again said, speaking with the media after the game. "It was tough because I put a little pressure on myself. Now that it's over, I will definitely be a little bit looser at the plate." Currently Back Again has 7 home runs and a .314 batting average. |
