State College's Crunch Chosen June's Best in MiLPBE Wednesday, July 1st , 2071 Crabtin Crunch really put his best foot forward in June with 4 wins and 1 loss and walked off with the Pitcher of the Month honors in the Minor League PBE. When he got the start for the State College Swift Steeds , it was good news for his club, but bad news for the opposition. In 36 innings of work, Crunch limited opposing batters to 36 base hits and a .259 batting average. He notched 23 strikeouts, issued 9 walks and had a 2.25 ERA. So far this season Crunch has a 7-5 record, 14 starts, 84 innings, 45 strikeouts and a 3.43 ERA. |
