San Antonio Sloths starter Anthony Stover turned in a top-notch performance against the Buffalo Surge at The Power House. The result was a win for the Sloths, 5-1. Stover yielded no runs over 6.1 innings to notch the win. He scattered 4 hits, walked 1, and struck out 5. His record improves to 9-3. Carlos Krash, who is a two-time All-Star, nailed down the save.

Les Skoden had a big solo home run for the Sloths in the top of the fifth inning.
