Master Blaster Munson Wins HR Challenge Title

Gibson Soundstage was host to the 2075 Home Run Challenge, the annual celebration of the longball. Michael Munson finished first in the field of eight Pro Baseball Experience sluggers, with Nashville Stars catcher Michael Munson topping Chauncey Ingram in the final round by a score of 9-8.
"There's no better feeling in the world than hitting a home run, so imagine how I'm feeling after my performance tonight," said Munson.
Munson is hitting at a .266 rate over his 270-game career. Lifetime he has 51 doubles, 1 triple and 53 home runs with 160 RBIs and 121 runs scored.

Best Pitcher Picked by Champions Conference

The Pitcher of the Month has been picked and the Champions Conference trophy went to Death Valley hurler Guy Roussy for his strong performance in June.
During the month, Roussy was impressive with a 3.44 ERA and 5 wins and 1 loss. In 36.2 innings he struck out 45 and gave up 37 hits and 12 walks.
Currently Roussy has a 8-3 won-lost record in 14 starts with a 3.69 ERA. He also has 102 strikeouts in 85.1 innings.
