Good production from designated hitter Chazz Lamborghini helped the Death Valley Scorpions topple the Detroit Demons, 5-4. Lamborghini was 3 for 4 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk, while scoring 2 times for the Scorpions. The winner in relief was Bandit Keith. The left-hander allowed no runs on no hits in 2 innings. He now owns a record of 7-3. Death Valley is now 55-24. Detroit is 33-46.

The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the tenth inning, when Death Valley shortstop Literal Flamingo, facing Thorne Belfour, had a run-scoring sacrifice fly. It gave the Scorpions the 5-4 win.

"It's a thrill to get that kind of win," Lamborghini said.
