New York pitcher Professor Croakwell did his part in helping his team beat the Vancouver Vandals, 6-2. The right-hander kept opposing batters from doing too much damage. Big Rooster got the save, his 9th in 11 chances. The loss makes Vancouver 35-47.

The Voyagers got a big at-bat from first baseman Kanutake MeHire. For the game, MeHire was 1 for 3 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 times and driving in 3. In the bottom of the sixth, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a 3-run home run. His 16th home run of the season gave New York a 3-1 lead.
