The rain made it unbearable at times; nonetheless, the faithful who endured the elements enjoyed themselves.

The Indianapolis Apex picked up a win at The Brickyard, knocking off the Seattle Sea Serpents, 1-0. Starting pitcher Maurice Bernard was a big reason why. Flop Quads notched his 10th save in 13 chances.

Enderman went 2 for 3 with 2 singles for Indianapolis. The 32-year old center fielder had a key at-bat in the bottom of the fifth. With no one out and runners on 2nd and 3rd, he broke a 0-0 tie with a run-scoring sacrifice fly off Mejiro McQueen. It was his 21st RBI of the season.

"For the most part, I made good pitches when I needed to," said Bernard.

The win puts Indianapolis at 51-31 this season.
