Carlton Beaty was instrumental in his team's 6-4 triumph over the Indianapolis Apex. The catcher went 1-4 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once for the Cancun Toros. J.C. Swishman, credited with the win in relief, is now 4-2. He allowed 1 run on 4 hits in 3.1 innings. Lizzie WOOOOHOOOO closed the game out for Cancun, earning his 18th save.

Beaty had a game-changing home run in the top of the sixth. On a 2-1 fastball from Biggus Tittious Smittious, he banged a 3-run home run to left-center, giving the Toros a 5-3 lead. It was the 12th home run of the year for Beaty.

"We'll kick back tonight, then get set for the next one," Beaty said.

Cancun goes to 54-28, Indianapolis to 45-37.
