The Indianapolis Apex pinned a convincing loss on the Vancouver Vandals, 12-2, at The Brickyard. Leon Rosenthal was a main factor in the win. He was 3 for 4 with a home run, a triple, and a double, while scoring 3 times and driving in 3 for Indianapolis. Indianapolis pitcher Calm Chicken got the win. He's now 10-8. Chuck Nasty was tagged with the loss. The triumph puts Indianapolis at 47-38 for the season.

The Apex picked up the win with a combination of good hitting and good pitching.

"I thought we played a nice game," Rosenthal told the Indianapolis Daily. "Good pitching, timely hitting, it was all there."
