The performance of Jefferson Steelflex proved critical in helping New Orleans beat Outer Banks, 6-4. The Rougarous center fielder went 2-3 with a home run and a walk. Dizzy Stoner, the winning pitcher, improved to 10-8. He pitched 5.2 innings, giving up 7 hits and 3 runs, while striking out 5 and walking 2. Baron Samedi earned save number 4 this season.

The game turned with no one out in the top of the fourth when Steelflex, who finished 4th in the Champions in hits with 138 in 2066, hit a solo home run. It propelled the Rougarous into the lead, 3-2.

"Win or lose, we pick each other up in this clubhouse," Steelflex told the New Orleans Citizen.
