Sloths Dealt 3-2 Loss by Buffalo
|
The San Antonio Sloths and Buffalo Surge provided some drama for the home crowd.
Buffalo rode a decent outing from starter Rotgut Whiskey to victory over the San Antonio Sloths. The final score was 3-2. Whiskey got the win, improving to 13-6. He allowed 4 hits and walked 3 over 6 innings. Whiskey allowed 2 runs. Frigg Delling recorded the save. In save chances, he's now 20 for 22.
The Surge got a big hit from first baseman Kerry Keli. In the bottom of the fifth, Keli pounded a bases-clearing double to center. His 33rd double of the season put the Surge ahead, 3-0.
Keli called the win the result of "everyone being in sync."
At 52-37, the Surge are currently first in the Legends Conference East.
