Voyagers Lose, 7-3, at The Island
The Outer Banks Aviators topped the New York Voyagers, 7-3, in Legends Conference action at The Island. The game was highlighted by the performance of Outer Banks pitcher Jiggs Kingman. Goro Shigeno got the save, his 6th in 7 chances. The Aviators bumped their record to 56-36 with this win.

Ángel de la Fuerte, who led the Legends in batting average with .345 last year, helped out the Outer Banks cause in the bottom of the sixth inning with a run-scoring single. For the game, the designated hitter was 1 for 3 with a walk.

"I liked his command," said Outer Banks manager . "Jiggs was throwing strikes."
