Cash Jr. Slugs Sea Serpents to 9-8 Win
Both teams had their chances, but the Seattle Sea Serpents eventually prevailed.

A 4-RBI performance from the 24-year old right fielder Chris Cash Jr. helped the Seattle Sea Serpents beat the Outer Banks Aviators, 9-8. Massive Unit picked up the win in relief. His record improves to 2-6. Ryan Alvarez suffered the loss.

Bookie Metts went 1-4 with a double for Seattle. The three-time All-Star had a key at-bat in the bottom of the eighth. With one out and a runner on 3rd, he broke a 8-8 tie with a run-scoring sacrifice fly off Ryan Alvarez. It was his 50th RBI of the season.

"We got the victory," said Cash Jr.. "That's all that matters at the end of the day."

The Sea Serpents raised their record to 38-56.
