Mulligan Now 8-11 After Subduing Crabs

Detroit Demons starter Hercules Mulligan turned in a top-notch performance against the Providence Crabs at Demon's Lair at Laser Park. The result was a win for the Demons, 3-1. Thorne Belfour recorded the save, his 10th. The Demons go to 38-56 with the win.
Mulligan, the Detroit left-hander, went 8 innings, allowing 1 run on 3 hits. He collected 10 strikeouts.
"The key at this level is throwing strike one," said Mulligan. "Successful pitchers do it."
