Cari Price Memorial Stadium was the site for Champions Conference action featuring the Death Valley Scorpions and New Orleans Rougarous.

Getting a good performance from first baseman Air Yordong, the New Orleans Rougarous defeated the Death Valley Scorpions, 10-5. Yordong went 3 for 5 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 3 for the Rougarous. The winning pitcher was Griff Manzer. He's now 2-1. He went 7 innings, allowing 5 runs on 8 hits for the Rougarous.

New Orleans used the hitting of Chorizo McTater to pick up the win. The designated hitter clubbed a 2-run home run in the top of the third inning to put the Rougarous on top, 3-1. For the game, McTater had 1 home run and 1 single in 5 at-bats.

"It's nice to deliver when your team's counting on you," said McTater.

The loss puts Death Valley at 5-10.
