The Indianapolis Apex turned back the Seattle Sea Serpents, 10-9, at The Aquadome. Sting Eucliffe, in particular, had a fine performance. He went 3-5 with a home run, a triple, a double, and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. The win was credited to Takeda Takahashi in relief. His record improves to 3-1. Lilo Pelekai took the loss. The win elevated the Apex to 59-39.

Leon Rosenthal came through with a big-time hit for Indianapolis. The catcher smacked a solo home run in the top of the 12th inning to give his team the lead, 10-9. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.

"We battled our tails off to get this win," said Indianapolis manager .
