Tight Tilt Goes to Sea Serpents, 2-1
|
The Seattle Sea Serpents scored a tight, 2-1 win versus the Detroit Demons at Demon's Lair at Laser Park. Seattle pitcher Aria Bluesky held his own in the contest. In 7 innings, Bluesky surrendered 4 hits, while striking out 3 and walking 2. He allowed 1 run. Seattle now has a record of 57-44 with the win.
The Sea Serpents got a big at-bat from shortstop Pee Wee Rhys. For the game, Rhys went 1-4 with a home run. In the top of the sixth, with the bases empty, he stroked a solo home run. His 4th home run of the season gave Seattle a 2-1 lead.
