The Cancun Toros, with some walk-off drama, delighted their fans at Coliseo Toros, presentado por VINS.
Cancun Toros starter John Cowgill was locked-in. He led his team to a win over the New Orleans Rougarous, 2-1. The win belonged to Roquefort Cotswald in relief. His record improves to 3-5. Stu Macher took the loss for New Orleans.
The Toros got a clutch hit from center fielder Gnome Child. In the bottom of the tenth, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Toros.
"I'm just trying to make sure I'm focused for each and every pitch," said Cowgill.
After today's action, Cancun sits at 56-47, while New Orleans falls to 51-52.
