The Cancun Toros got a superb performance from pitcher Ryan Lee, but the New Orleans Rougarous still won the game, 4-3. Lee threw 8.0 innings of 6-hit ball. Leo Gonzalez earned his 4th save, after closing out the game. With the win, New Orleans raised its record to 53-52.

Honk Shue contributed a productive at-bat in the top of the eighth. With a runner on 2nd, he reached on an error by the center fielder, driving in 1 run. His at-bat helped New Orleans get the win.

"Honestly, I'm not frustrated," said Cancun manager . "The effort was great."
