6-3 Loss Deepens Toronto Funk
|
The Boise Raptors picked up a win at Hammond Park, knocking off the Toronto Pathfinders, 6-3. Starting pitcher Cy Duck was a big reason why. Duck yielded 3 runs over 7 innings to notch the win. He scattered 7 hits, walked 2, and struck out 9. His record improves to 4-14. Anne Dieu-le-Veut closed the door for Boise, picking up his 10th save of the year.
In the bottom of the fourth, Boise shortstop Bageshwari Singh had a productive at-bat. With runners on 1st and 3rd and two out, Singh stroked a run-scoring single to center. It made the score 3-2, Boise. For the game, he went 2-4 with 2 singles, while adding 3 RBI.
"We're in a funk and we need to shake ourselves out of it," said Toronto manager .
The current losing streak for Toronto has reached 6 games.
