Indianapolis got a terrific game from center fielder Esteban Santos Garcia. It wasn't enough, though, to prevent the team from falling to New Orleans, 8-4. Santos Garcia went 2-3 with a home run, while scoring 2 and driving in 2. Brian Eshleman III, the winning pitcher, improved to 2-2. He pitched 6 innings, giving up 7 hits and 4 runs, while striking out 7 and walking 1. Ea Nasir earned the save for New Orleans.

In the bottom of the third, 25-year old first baseman Air Yordong hit a 2-run home run. The 5th home run of the season for the New Orleans first baseman put the Rougarous on top, 4-2.

"We maximized our offense today," said New Orleans skipper . "That makes everyone's life easier."

The Apex fall to 8-10 and continue their lackluster start to the 2078 season.
