The Detroit Demons picked up a win at Cari Price Memorial Stadium, taking down the Death Valley Scorpions, 4-0. Starting pitcher Goaty McGoatFace was a big reason why. With the loss, Death Valley is 5-13.

The Demons benefited from a costly error in the top of the eighth. With Danger Dollarson at bat and Detroit leading 2-0, the Death Valley miscue allowed Detroit to plate 2 and take the lead, 4-0.

"You need to show up when your number's called," said Dollarson.
