Outer Banks turned a fine outing from starter Joseph Mathys Hendry into a victory over the Nashville Stars at The Island. The final score was 2-1. Mickey Martino, who finished 4th in the Legends in saves with 14 last year, nailed down the save. The loss has the Stars at 14-5.

Catcher Curtis Jones made an impact for Outer Banks, when he swatted a run-scoring double off Ultimo Kahn in the bottom of the fourth. For the contest, Jones went 1-3 with a double.
