The Nashville Stars picked up a win at Gibson Soundstage, dropping the Vancouver Vandals, 8-2. Warren Peace, who won the Rookie of the Year Award in 2071, was the difference-maker. Peace, now 2-2, was the winner. In 7.1 innings, he gave up 4 hits, while striking out 10, walking 1, and allowing 2 runs. The win gives Nashville a record of 16-5.

C.J. Lavine had a big 2-run double for the Stars in the bottom of the sixth inning. With Nashville leading 4-2 and runners on 2nd and 3rd, he got a cutter from Chuck Nasty, who is tied for 2nd in the Legends in strikeouts with 45, and swatted a double to left. It was his 9th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Stars ahead, 6-2.

"It's the best feeling when you come through for your teammates," said Lavine.
