The New York Voyagers downed the Death Valley Scorpions, 12-3. The hitting star was third baseman Man Squatch. Squatch went 4-5 with a home run, a double, and 2 singles. He drove in 2 runs and scored once for the Voyagers. The Scorpions drop to 7-14, as their fitful start to the 2078 campaign continues.

New York used the clutch hitting of Kanutake MeHire to capture the win. The first baseman drilled a 2-run double in the top of the seventh inning to give the Voyagers the lead, 6-3. For the game, MeHire had 2 singles and 1 double in 5 at-bats.

"We did a lot of really good things and it was a good win," said Voyagers manager .
