Scorpions Roll to 10-3 Win Over Aviators
The Death Valley Scorpions picked up a win at Cari Price Memorial Stadium, knocking off the Outer Banks Aviators, 10-3. Starting pitcher Xavier Pruitt was a big reason why. The third-place Aviators have lost 4 consecutive games.

The Scorpions got a big hit from catcher Daniel Plainview. In the bottom of the eighth, Plainview pounded a 3-run home run to left. His 4th home run of the season put the Scorpions ahead, 10-3.

Plainview told a Death Valley Observer reporter that he was "gratified" with the win.
