Divisional Series Game 1 Victory for Chicken and Indianapolis
The Divisional Series got off to a quiet start, with the host Indianapolis Apex taking a low-scoring, 3-0 win over the Cancun Toros. Indianapolis left-hander Calm Chicken was marvelous at The Brickyard. The Apex now hold a 1-0 lead in the best-of-5 series.

The outcome was still in doubt with two out in the top of the fourth inning, but Chicken was able to pitch out of a jam. With runners on 1st and 2nd and Cancun trailing 1-0, Chicken retired Myles Meredith, who struck out.

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at The Brickyard in Providence.
