The Indianapolis Apex defeated the Cancun Toros, 5-4, in Game 4 of the Conference Finals. Making an impact was designated hitter Moe Scatoes, who was 3-4 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 3. The win moves Indianapolis into a 2-2 tie with Cancun in the series.

Had Dave Babipperson not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the eighth, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and runners on 1st and 2nd, Babipperson hit a 2-run double. That made the score 5-4, in favor of the Apex.
