Vancouver Vandals starter Andy Beans hurled his team past the Boise Raptors, 2-1. In 6.1 innings, Beans surrendered 2 hits, while striking out 6 and walking 2. He allowed 1 run. Vancouver now sits at 9-14, while Boise falls to 13-10.
McLovin Jr. drove in one run for Vancouver. The three-time All-Star had a key at-bat in the bottom of the fourth. With one out and a runner on 3rd, he broke a 1-1 tie with a run-scoring sacrifice fly off Marsh Mellow Jr.. It was his 15th RBI of the season.
