The Outer Banks Aviators faced a tough opponent in Buffalo pitcher Ren Toltraid, but did just enough to pull out the victory at The Power House by a final score of 5-4. Toltraid went 7.1 innings and allowed 2 runs. The win for the Aviators lifted their record to 13-10.

Outer Banks used the clutch hitting of Shrimp McDaniel to capture the win. The right fielder drilled a solo home run in the top of the ninth inning to put the Aviators ahead, 5-4. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a big one.

"I was a little disappointed," said Buffalo manager . "We could've and should've scored more runs."
