Starting pitcher Chuck Nasty gave the Vancouver Vandals a rock-solid effort. The Walnut Creek, California native helped his team defeat the Boise Raptors, 3-0, at The Thunderdome. Jackson Kidd nailed down his 3rd save. The Vandals sport a record of 10-15.

Vancouver took a 2-0 lead on Pierre Phillip's 2nd triple of the season. The run-scoring triple, which Phillip hit in the bottom of the seventh, left Boise pitcher Bug Chingus visibly frustrated.

"We played a good game and came out on top," said Phillip.
