Scorpions Take Nail-Biter Over Rougarous
The Death Valley Scorpions downed the New Orleans Rougarous, 7-5, at Cari Price Memorial Stadium. The Scorpions were led by Lawn Gnomes. Gnomes was 4 for 5 with a double and 3 singles. He scored 2 runs. Death Valley reliever Jazz Hands picked up the win, upping his record to 3-1. Takeda Takahashi was saddled with the loss. The setback makes New Orleans 13-12.

Death Valley got a knockout punch from Laser Show. The designated hitter hammered a 3-run home run in the bottom of the tenth inning to win the game. It might've been his only hit, but it decided the outcome.

"This stadium was a-rockin'," said Show.
