The Nashville Stars beat the Indianapolis Apex, 8-6, at Gibson Soundstage. The Stars got a fine performance from first baseman Ford Lincoln-Mercury, who was 3-4 with a home run and 2 singles. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. The winning pitcher was Warren Peace. He's now 3-2. He went 6 innings, allowing 5 runs on 7 hits for the Stars. Zachary Vega III collected his 4th save.
Bobby Briggs, who is tied for 6th in the Champions with a .995 OPS, aided the Nashville cause with a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the bottom of the third. For the game, the third baseman drove in one run.
