The Death Valley Scorpions topped the Detroit Demons by the score of 8-1, with the biggest share of the credit going to left fielder Smalls. Smalls was 4-4 with a home run and 3 singles, while scoring 3 and driving in 2 for the Scorpions on the day. Xavier Pruitt got the win, improving to 3-1.
