New York pitcher Professor Croakwell did his part in helping his team defeat the Vancouver Vandals, 5-1. The opposition could never get too much going against the right-hander. Croakwell got the win, improving to 3-1. He gave up 4 hits and walked 1 over 6 innings. He allowed 1 run. The win for the Voyagers raised their record to 18-8.
The fans who came to support the Voyagers were pleased with the outcome. It was what they had hoped for when they passed through the turnstiles at Vaughn's House.
