Sloths Walk It Off for 16th Win of Season
The 9-8 San Antonio win over Buffalo was due largely to Tedford Woofington Jr.. The Sloths left fielder went 3 for 4 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while scoring 2 times and driving in 3. The win belongs to Liru Wolf in relief. His record improves to 2-1. Cesar Lopez took the loss for Buffalo. San Antonio is now 16-11, 2 games up in the Legends Conference West.

The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the ninth. With no one out, Woofington Jr. hit a cutter from Cesar Lopez for a run-scoring double. The Sloths, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.

"Enjoyed this one," Woofington Jr. told the San Antonio Times. "But it's back to work tomorrow."
