Itsumi Meo, who finished 4th in the Legends in triples with 5 in 2076, had a timely hit in the bottom of the seventh inning. With one out and runners on 1st and 2nd, the Buffalo center fielder hit a run-scoring single. That put the Surge in front, 3-2.

"We can always improve and get better, but we're feeling confident after that win," said Woop.
