The Providence Crabs picked up a win at The Pot, knocking off the Buffalo Surge, 8-2. Starting pitcher Joe Random played a key role in the triumph. Picking up his 8th save was fan favorite Randy Colón. The loss makes Buffalo 12-16.

Hurri Quake had a big 2-run double for the Crabs in the bottom of the first inning. With Providence trailing 2-1 and runners on 1st and 2nd, he got a fastball from 23-year old right-handed pitcher Jackson Pollock V and swatted a double to left-center. It was his 7th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Crabs ahead, 3-2.

"Enjoyed this one," Quake told the Providence Daily. "But it's back to work tomorrow."
