Keli Helps Surge Win, 15-8, with Pair of Homers
Behind a fine performance from Kerry Keli, the Buffalo Surge knocked off the Outer Banks Aviators, 15-8. Keli hit 2 home runs, while scoring 3 times and driving in 7 for the Surge. Buffalo pitcher Ultimo Kahn got the win. He's now 1-0. Joe Kelly was tagged with the loss. The win for the Surge lifted their record to 20-9.

Keli contributed a big hit, a 3-run home run, for Buffalo in the bottom of the second. With his team trailing 5-4, Keli took a screwball from Joe Kelly and stroked the home run to right-center. His 9th home run of the season allowed the Surge to leap in front, 7-5.

"We'll relax tonight and enjoy this win," said Keli.
