Voyagers Take Down Aviators, 6-5
The New York Voyagers, with some walk-off drama, delighted their fans at Vaughn's House.

The New York Voyagers withstood an impressive performance by Outer Banks center fielder Bazooka Slow to defeat the Aviators, 6-5, at Vaughn's House. Slow was 3 for 4 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. New York reliever PDub Woods picked up the win to move to 1-0. Mickey Martino suffered the loss.

Diego Ramieriez was the walk-off hero for New York. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Voyagers shortstop hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"In this profession, you've got to put the good and the bad behind you quickly," Outer Banks skipper said.

The win puts New York at 3-0.
