Baseball fans saw a good contest between the Buffalo Surge and San Antonio Sloths.

The Buffalo Surge picked up a win at The Power House, knocking off the San Antonio Sloths, 6-4. On the mound for Buffalo was right-hander J.C. Swishman, who played a pivotal role in the win. The save went to Dennis Martinez, his 3rd this season.

Had Zen Bobrist not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the eighth, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and runners on 1st and 2nd, Bobrist hit a 2-run double. That made the score 6-4, in favor of the Surge.

"Win or lose, we pick each other up in this clubhouse," Bobrist told the Buffalo Chronicle.

The Surge, at 22-9, have now won 4 straight.
