Lefty Nasty Leads Vancouver to 8-1 Win
|
The Vancouver Vandals topped the Buffalo Surge, 8-1, in Legends Conference action at The Power House. The game was highlighted by the performance of Vancouver pitcher Chuck Nasty. Vancouver leads the Legends Conference West by 4 games.
Nasty, the winner, is now 4-3. In 7.2 innings of work, he gave up no runs on 2 hits, while collecting 9 Ks. He essentially shut down the Buffalo offense.
"I managed to get ahead of guys and keep them at bay," said Nasty.
