Toros Reel Off Another Win
|
Starting pitcher Pedro Martini pitched well enough to help the Cancun Toros beat the Providence Crabs, 6-3. Roquefort Cotswald closed the game out for Cancun, earning his 3rd save. With the win, Cancun raised its record to 22-14.
The Toros got a big at-bat from third baseman Feka Ohi Kau. For the game, Ohi Kau went 1 for 3 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 and driving in 2. In the bottom of the first, with a runner on 2nd, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 6th home run of the season gave Cancun a 2-0 lead.
"You can't get too high when things go well, or too low when things go bad. Right now, I'm just happy we got the win," Martini told the Cancun Citizen.
